Get Started Early
With over 25,000 sq. ft. of things to see it's ideal to arrive before 11 a.m. to provide ample time to take in everything the museum has to offer.

Backpacks Not Permitted
Please no backpacks. Strollers and small carts are allowed.

Don't Feed the Exhibits
Food and drinks are not allowed in the galleries. However, you’re welcome to enjoy a sip or a snack at the Museum Shop, or have a picnic in our large outdoor exhibit spaces.

Exhibits
The Deming Luna Mimbres Museum houses exhibits relating to the everyday lives of the citizens of Deming and the Mimbres Valley. They include paintings, furniture, period rooms, antique machines and tools, toys, dolls, clothes, vehicles, farm equipment, war memorabilia, photographs, Indian artifacts, gems and geodes, and an important collection of Mimbres pottery.

From our interactive tank, giant anti-aircraft gun to our memorial stadium the Deming Museum is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors for family fun, picnics and sightseeing.

Archives
Located behind the Customs House (across the street) is a collection of historical documents available for anyone’s research. Contact one of the volunteers (check staff listings at the front desk) to learn who works there to arrange access to these Archives.
